Planned Hospital System Downtime: June 27

Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton will conduct a scheduled systems upgrade from 4 a.m. through 12 p.m. Saturday, June 27. During this time, clinical and administrative systems will be offline, and patients may experience delays and longer than normal wait times.

The Emergency Room and inpatient services will remain open, but patients with non-urgent needs, including prescriptions, are encouraged to seek care after we return to normal operations.

Patients experiencing a medical emergency should proceed to their nearest Emergency Room.

Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is currently operating at Force Protection Condition (FPCON) Bravo+. Effective immediately, the Trusted Traveler Program is suspended until further notice. Department of War (DoW) ID cardholders may no longer vouch for vehicle occupants at installation entry points. All non-DoW affiliated visitors must be sponsored by an authorized DoW ID cardholder and obtain a pass from Pass and ID. The sponsor must be present during processing.

CAMP PENDLETON, CALIFORNIA — Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton hosted a two-day walking blood bank training event for Navy medical personnel across Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in the hospital galley meeting room May 11-12, 2026.

EMF 150 Alpha changes command aboard MCB Camp Pendleton

CAMP PENDLETON, CALIFORNIA — On Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, Expeditionary Medical Facility 150 Alpha conducted a change of command ceremony aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

NMRTC Camp Pendleton graduates six from MSC IPP cohort

CAMP PENDLETON, CALIFORNIA — Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Camp Pendleton held a graduation ceremony for the 2026 Medical Service Corps Inservice Procurement Program cohort on Feb. 13, 2026, in the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton galley meeting room.

Outgoing Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Camp Pendleton Commander Capt. Jenny Burkett (left) salutes incoming NMRTC Camp Pendleton Commander Capt. NMRTC Camp Pendleton holds inaugural Academic Research Symposium

CAMP PENDLETON , CALIFORNIA — Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Camp Pendleton held an Academic Research Symposium aboard Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton on March 13, 2025.

The casualty receiving team of Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF) 150-Alpha unloads a simulated patient from an ambulance in front of the facility during an EMF training and Operational Readiness Evaluation (ORE) at the Naval Expeditionary Medicine Warfighter Development Center (NEMWDC), Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 15-28. An EMF is a role 3 platform, designed to provide in-theater hospitalization with a hold capacity of up to 150 beds.

EMF 150-Alpha refines operational readiness at NEMWDC

CAMP PENDLETON, CALIFORNIA — Expeditionary Medical Facility 150 Alpha (EMF 150 Alpha) recently got a dose of realism, testing its ability to provide forward-deployed health service support to operational units across a full range of military operations in a series of real-world scenarios.

Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton graduated six nurses from the Nurse Residency Program during a graduation ceremony held Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, in the hospital galley meeting room aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. “Our Nurse Residency Program is 12 weeks long with rotations and cross-training to several departments across the hospital including laboratory, post-anesthesia care unit, ambulatory procedure unit, intensive care unit; and the emergency department,” said Lt. CAMP PENDLETON , CALIFORNIA — Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton graduated six nurses from the Nurse Residency Program during a graduation ceremony held Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, in the hospital galley meeting room aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

CAMP PENDLETON , CALIFORNIA — Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton welcomed the first baby of 2025 in the Labor and Delivery Department on Jan. 1, 2025. The parents of Andreas E. Rutherford-Salazar are Lance Cpl. Alondra Salazar, from Simi Valley, Calif., and Lance Cpl. Deandre Rutherford, from Newport News, Va.
