The Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton main operating room perioperative nurses were recognized with the 2024 Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) TrueNorth Award on April 2, 2024.

Doctor reunites with medical student he delivered decades ago

A military medical student at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton was reunited with the doctor who delivered her into the world more than two decades ago.

Sailors from Expeditionary Medical Facility 150 Alpha receive a simulated patient from 1st Medical Battalion on Feb. 27, 2024, aboard Naval Expeditionary Medical Training Institute, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. EMF 150 Alpha was providing the Role 3 medical capability during Med. Bn.’s Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation. During the weeklong exercise, EMF 150 Alpha received, treated, tracked, and medically evacuated 76 patients.
